When you make a purchase, our payment processor Stripe collects your payment information (such as credit card number and billing address). Poinky never sees or stores your full card details.

Our AI-powered chat widget (Poinky Chat) may collect the messages you send during a conversation to provide helpful responses. The chat widget is hosted on poinky-chat.vercel.app and uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate answers.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google gtag) to understand how visitors find our website through advertising. This may collect anonymized data about your visit, such as which ad you clicked and whether you completed an action on our site. We do not use Google Analytics (GA4) and do not track your browsing behavior across the web.

We use the information you provide to deliver the services you requested — like building your website, processing your order, or responding to your inquiry.

We may use your contact information to communicate with you about your project, send updates about your website or SiteCare subscription, and respond to support requests.

Data from Google Ads conversion tracking helps us understand which advertising efforts are working, so we can reach more businesses that need our services. We do not use this data to build personal profiles or track you across websites.

Chat conversations are used to provide you with helpful answers in real time. We may review conversations to improve the quality of our chat assistant.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. When you enter your payment information during checkout, that data goes directly to Stripe.

Poinky never sees, stores, or has access to your full credit card number. We only receive confirmation that your payment was successful, along with basic transaction details like the amount and date.

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run our website and deliver our products. Each one has access only to the information it needs to do its job:

Stripe — Processes all payments securely. Stripe receives your payment details during checkout and is subject to its own privacy policy.

Netlify — Hosts our website and processes form submissions (contact, consultation, careers, website wizard). Netlify stores form data on our behalf and is subject to its own privacy policy.

Google Ads (gtag) — Provides conversion tracking so we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Google may collect anonymized interaction data and is subject to its own privacy policy.

Anthropic (Claude API) — Powers our Poinky Chat widget. Messages you send in the chat are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic is subject to its own privacy policy.

Poinky itself does not set any cookies on your device.

However, third-party services we use may set their own cookies. Google Ads conversion tracking (gtag) may place cookies to measure ad performance and attribute conversions. Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process to enable secure payment handling and fraud prevention.

These cookies are managed by Google and Stripe respectively, not by Poinky. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking certain cookies may affect the checkout experience.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Our website is served over HTTPS, which encrypts data in transit between your browser and our servers.

While we work hard to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to following industry best practices to safeguard your data.

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it to provide our services, fulfill our obligations, and comply with applicable laws.

Our website and services are designed for businesses and are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@poinky.ai and we will promptly remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date at the bottom.
